Jamar Morris, more popularly known as “Linkz” is quicky carving his niche and separating himself as a videographer extraordinaire- passionate about creating stories and messages through video with a unique editing eye for detail. The self-taught creative from St. Mary says the allure of the cameras and the environment attracted him to videography. Whilst he attended St. Mary Technical High school he would follow his cousin Ozen Edwards on shoots and fell in love with the cameras as he learnt the craft. He speaks with awe-like reverence about the ability to capture a moment, take it home and be able to edit that same moment. Linkz credits his older brother genius producer Ainsley ‘Notnice’ Morris as his mentor and the one that inspired him to believe in himself and further hone his craft after graduating high school. “Notnice drive me, him seh gwaan yuh can do it!” Linkz who was given that name by his cousin Jason back in his hometown because he’s so well connected and knows everybody, says the Black Magic 6K is his favourite camera now, because the colours are superior, almost magical and because of the slow motion, the bit rate. He also likes the quality of the Red Komodo Camera. When Linkz shoots he gets into a zone with his equipment, locations and subjects and his technique is not quite what you’re used to

Looking to branch out internationally, he would love to work with artiste Travis Scott because his videos are as unique as his songs, “with crazy imagery, scenes and story lines”. ‘Butterfly Effect’ and 2 ‘Goosebumps’ are two that stand out for him.
